1、 Great Changes in My Hometown
I used to live in a small town with trees all around.There was no tall building and the only street was narrow.Just outside the town,there was a river.You can see different kinds of fish swimming in the clear water.People here lived a simple life.
Great changes have taken place here.You can see tall buildings,big department stores and factories everywhere.Different kinds of cars and buses are running in the big streets.But with the development of the industry,we have fewer trees.Air and water pollution is becoming more and more serious.We must do something to stop pollution and make our town even more beautiful.

Great Changes in My Hometown

The pollution was serious, rubbish was seen everywhere and it wasn't convinient to go anywhere at all, which caused few visitors to came to here to spend their holidays. With the time passing, great changes took place.Now, we live in tall and ample buildings, even many people have bought their own cars.what around us is the clearer sky and more green water. what's more, there are thousands of visitors come to here all over the world. i love my hometown very much

我的家乡坐落贼云南省的东北部方向，被称为珠江源头第一城的美丽城市――麒麟城。

近几年来，我的家乡曲靖发生了翻天覆地的大变化。

就拿龙潭公园说吧！以前，龙潭公园只是一个很普通的小树林，里面有个水塘，有些人便把垃圾丢在那儿。现在呢？完全不同了，整个小树林改头换面，比如说湖的旁边，到处绿油油的，繁花盛放。呼吸着新鲜的空气，真是让人心旷神怡呀！再看菊花园，又是别有情趣了，首先，菊花猛地张开自己的花骨朵儿，五颜六色，美丽极了。茫茫的连成一片，远一点看，就像黄金毯一般，这真不愧是菊花园呀！

除了龙潭公园的变化外，还有呢！不信？那就听好喽！

原来，南城门广场只有一块平地，其它寥寥无几。现在，变了。每当夜幕降临时，便出现了如诗般的风景画，有着各种各样的彩灯，而且中间还喷起了有十米高的水柱呢！人们呢？老的在周围散步，中年人在那谈笑，小孩子们在那里嬉戏，看着眼前这般景象，真不知我该如何形容它。

啊！我爱我的家乡，更爱家乡勤劳善良的人民，在他们的辛勤劳动创造中，我的家乡将会以更崭新的面貌展现在人们的眼前。
