Whether Rural Children Should Be Encouraged to Go to College
When it comes to the problem whether rural children should be encouraged to go to college,different people have different things to say.Some thought it's useless for those children to receive higher education,while others believed rural children should go to college.As for me,i sided with the latter without hesitation because of the three reasons as below.
Firstly,Higher education helps one form a good thinking mode.College is not only a place to give knowledge,but also help one learn how to learn.Ways of solving problems differ greatly between those who go to college and those who do not.
Secondly,one's view of life and personality can be perfected during college.As most college students live in dormitories,they share their ideas and spend their times together.The communication among students of the same age can stimulate their minds development and form a sould view of life.
Lastly,students receive first-rate education in college.In college,with excellent staff and teaching equipments,one can study whatever he or she is interested in and raise questions to get good answers.The improvement of academic skills can put them into further development of their fields of studies.
Therefore,i think rural students should also go to colleges for education.They are the same as urban students do.
