这句话,and这个连词不是表示前后是并列关系,逻辑上是一致的吗?
但是为什么and前面说的意思是支持长江流域是是rice的发源地,而and后面却反对江流域是是rice的发源地?
求朋友帮忙答疑解惑啊.

这里and前面的意思是长江流域的rice-farming 社会已经发展的很完善了,已经and之后指这一个完善发展的社会没有前期的evidence.所以他确实是并列意思,就是southern-origin支持者觉得长江流域【并不是】rice发源地.
大致就是就是这么个感觉：长江流域没有前期发展的证据,只有高度发展后的样子.
