Some people argue that public libraries should not waste limited space and resources on hi-tech media e.g.computer software,videos and DVDs.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

1.\x05Currently,hi-tech media such as computer software,videos and DVDs are being increasingly introduced to public libraries.
2.\x05And with staggering advancement of the latest technology,public libraries are inundated with hi-tech media.
3.\x05But in the meantime,some people start to claim that public libraries should not afford such hi-tech media due to the limited resources they currently have.
4.\x05However,I personally can hardly share this view on this phenomenon.
1.\x05Obviously,it is reasonable for public libraries to divert their limited resources from providing books to affording hi-tech media.
2.\x05By that I mean hi-tech media has revolutionized the way people’s living and thinking,as it is more convenient and user-friendly with the intelligent equipment and systems than traditional paper books which are not only monotonous but also unmotivating.
3.\x05Besides,hi-tech media makes our learning experience less time-consuming and more economical.
4.\x05Therefore,it is a feasible plan for libraries to reorganize and save their limited resources by providing hi-tech media to the general public.
1.\x05Despite the benefits hi-tech media brought to us,some individuals strongly condemn in,claiming that it will increase burden on government programs.
2.\x05In order to improve public access to hi-tech media in libraries,governments feel compiled to upgrade older libraries,invest in newer ones,and recruit more specialist staff,which leaves less money for governments to spend on other national priorities.
3.\x05However,I personally think that this investment can generate employment opportunities and it would be worthwhile in the future.
1.\x05In summary,I believe it is a trend for public libraries to provide an increasing number of software,videos and DVDs for us.
2.\x05Moreover,the libraries and the general public would become the man beneficiary of the development in the near future.
