　　The ACT and SAT are different tests that measure similar but distinct constructs. The ACT measures achievement related to high school curricula, while the SAT measures general verbal and quantitative reasoning. ACT and the College Board have completed a concordance study that is designed to examine the relationship between two scores on the ACT and SAT. These concordance tables do not equate scores, but rather provide a tool for finding comparable scores.

　　简单点说，ACT官方的意思大致是：

　　ACT与SAT是不同的两种考试，测试的方法相似，但是结构不同，殊途同归。对于两种考试的定义，说了那么多次，这里不再赘述，简单来说一个是 针对高中课程掌握程度的考察，一个是 对逻辑推理能力的测评，最终目的都是为了 评测学生是否具备了进入大学接受高等教育的学习能力。
