First of all,animals can be our food.Some animals,like pigs,fish and chickens can be raised as our food.We eat their meat that contains rich protein.Second,animals are a must to keep the nature balance.They are one part of the food links on the earth.Without them,the nature will lose balance,the environment will be destroyed,and human beings can't survive.Last but not least,many animals are good friends of us human beings.Some animals,like dogs,birds and cats have been kept as pets in our families,which can make us happy.And dogs can even help look after our homes too.
For the reasons mentioned above,we should protect animals.
