V.O.A is the abbriviation for the voice of America ,u can tune in this broadcasting station by a radio with short wave band ,as 4 the way of learning V.O.A special english ,I would say there is no any shortcuts in language studying ,especially in listening comprehension ,More u listen ,More u learn ,Just don‘t give it up ,u will make progress 4 sure!If possible,it’s better off to record those materials that u listened from the radio,then try doing some dictations according to the content of the program,Maybe in the begining u wouldn‘t throughly catch every word there coming out of the mouth of the commentator ,but it’s just okay ,listen more carefully and try some more times ,u would be able to understand it !any way there is no shortcuts ,at least thats what I understand about language studying .good luck to u ,my dear friend!
